Victorian luggage was made to be shipped by train, steamboat, and horse-drawn carriage. Suitcases were sent ahead and handled exclusively by porters. The classic maple hoops, reinforced with brass hardware and reinforced corners, protected the trunk and its contents from damage. The tall, square shape of our "side table" trunk was designed to fit easily into tight cabins on extended trips. Yet it was large enough to hold a tall, black stovepipe hat! Enjoy the taste of a bygone age of luxury. Combine fin-de-siècle charm with the practicality of efficient storage.

Cabin end table, Black, Material: Maple, Pine, Leather, Brass & MDF Kleur/finish: Silver & Honey Distreseed French Finish.
