Shipping conditions

These shipping conditions apply to all orders placed via our website Stil-Ambiente.de website.

We deliver to all EU countries including islands as well as many non-EU countries such as Switzerland and England. Deliveries to the USA are limited to items that are not shipped by carrier. Freight forwarding goods are only shipped to the USA in the case of bulk orders.

Shipping costs (including VAT)

The shipping costs will be calculated as soon as you have entered your address and will be displayed before the ordering process/completion of purchase.

Items that are in stock are ready for shipment within 7 days. Delivery will be made within 14 working days at the latest. For items that are not in stock, the shipping time can be several weeks. The deadline for delivery in the case of payment in advance is the day after the payment order is sent to the bank responsible for the transfer and for all other payment methods the day after the contract is concluded. If the deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday at the place of delivery, the deadline shall end on the next working day.

The risk of accidental loss and accidental deterioration of the item sold shall not pass to the buyer until the item is handed over to the buyer, even in the case of sale by dispatch.

  • The recipient should be present at the time of delivery. If the recipient is absent, the parcel will be deposited at the nearest post office.
  • If delivery attempts fail, the parcel will be returned to us and additional costs may be incurred.

We ship with the following shipping companies:

  1. Deutsche Post DHL Group: One of the largest and best-known shipping service providers in Germany. They offer both national and international shipping.

  2. Hermes: Another large shipping service provider that is primarily known for parcel shipping in online retail.

  3. DPD (Dynamic Parcel Distribution): Offers parcel and express delivery services and is widely used in Germany.

  4. GLS (General Logistics Systems): A European shipping service provider that is also active in Germany and offers a range of shipping options.

  5. UPS (United Parcel Service): An international shipping service provider with an extensive network that also covers Germany.

  6. FedEx: Known for international express deliveries and also has various shipping options within Germany.

  7. TNT: Another international shipping service provider that also operates in Germany and offers various shipping options.

  8. trans-o-flex: Specializes in shipping pharmaceutical products and other sensitive goods.

  9. GO! Express & Logistics: Offers specialized courier and express services.

  10. Forwarding agencies: For larger shipments and special conditions (e.g. temperature-controlled transportation), there are also a number of forwarding companies that offer shipping services.

Shipping large furniture with a forwarding agent

This is carried out by our forwarding agent. Our forwarding agent will contact you by telephone so that you can arrange a preferred delivery time (Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.).

To enable delivery, please remember to provide a daytime telephone number (preferably a cell phone number) in the checkout/order. Delivery is made to the so-called kerbside, i.e. the shipping company is only responsible for delivery to the front of the house, but not for transportation to your apartment/house.

Please also note that a delivery in both cases of forwarding agency Mondays to Fridays between 9 am and 4 pm can take place. Saturday delivery is unfortunately not possible.

If delivery attempts fail, the shipment will be returned to us and additional costs may be incurred.

As soon as your order has left our warehouse, you will receive a shipping confirmation by e-mail. This confirmation contains an overview of all the important information about your order.

Liability and compensation

We are not liable for delays or damages that are beyond our control (e.g. force majeure, strikes, etc.).

Can I track my order?

Yes, after your order has been dispatched you will receive an email with the tracking number.
